Pedigree Jazz B at Marston’s Brewery 2017

Once again, the PEDIGREE JAZZ BAND are touring down south to entertain us here at Farnborough Jazz Club with ‘A Salute to Trad Jazz’.  Band leader CHRIS WALKER (clarinet) has joining him on this tour, TONY MANN (trombone), ANDY CHISLETT (trumpet), JOHN NODDINGS (banjo & guitar), KEN AMES (double bass) and COLIN LARN (drums).  Chris takes pleasure in giving us a little bit of the history of ‘trad’ jazz and telling about the tunes composers and lyricists.  Of course other bands do that, but Chris tells the story with a bit more involvement.  The band fare from Burton-on-Trent, East Staffordshire and is sponsored by THE MARSTON’S BREWERY.  They have been performing for us since 2014.  If you haven’t heard them before, then turn up on Friday, 17th March 2017 at 8:00pm and enjoy the performance.
