It\u2019s <\/strong>MIKE BARRY\u2019S UPTOWN GANG <\/strong><\/span>who will be entertaining you at FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB (Kent) <\/span>tomorrow night, Friday, 14th<\/sup> FEBRUARY 2020 – ST. VALENTINE\u2019S NIGHT.\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

MIKE BARRY\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>plays trumpet and in his happy band he will have <\/strong>TIM HUSKISSON <\/strong><\/span>on reeds, <\/strong>\u2018WHISPERING\u2019 MIKE HOLT <\/strong><\/span>on trombone (who also sings), <\/strong>JOHN STUART <\/strong><\/span>on banjo & guitar, <\/strong>ROGER CURPHY<\/strong><\/span> on double bass and <\/strong>PAUL NORMAN <\/strong><\/span>on drums.\u00a0 Last time <\/strong>Mike <\/strong><\/span>had his <\/strong>Uptown Band<\/strong><\/span>, we were apologising for <\/strong>cancelling the week prior and the fact that we have only had to do so twice in 30years <\/strong>(always due to extreme bad weather) and that was two years ago. Since then, we have cancelled both Januarys and sod\u2019s law, we have had the warmest Januarys – NO SNOW!!!! Anyway, \u2018live\u2019 jazz is what we offer, so just in case of snow in February March and April, come and join us for some fun – we do enjoy ourselves.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
