{"id":6041,"date":"2019-07-18T14:02:34","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T14:02:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/farnboroughjazz.co.uk\/?p=6041"},"modified":"2019-07-18T20:47:09","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T20:47:09","slug":"6041","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/farnboroughjazz.co.uk\/?p=6041","title":{"rendered":"Mardi Gras JazzBand, Friday, 19th July 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"background-color:#d57dea\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-dark-gray-color\"><strong>We\u2019re going to the MARDI&nbsp;GRAS, why not come too. &nbsp;It\u2019s this Friday, 19<sup>th<\/sup> July 2019 at our FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB (Kent).&nbsp; That is when the MARDI GRAS JAZZBAND will be with us, bringing the New Orleans sparkle of magic with them\u2026 they go regularly.&nbsp; I promise, you will hanker to go there yourselves, but if you cant, just grab some of that magic from here.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#70f755\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-dark-gray-color\"><strong>The musicians are trombonist band leader, ROB PEARCE and with him will be LEIGH HENSON on trumpet &amp; flugelhorn, plus JOHN ELLMER, who usually brings all manor of reed instruments with him to play. ROGER LEWIN is back for his second visit to us, playing piano (although he had played here some years ago).&nbsp; Then there will be STEVE SMITH on double bass and of course, PAUL BAKER on drums, smiling away at the back.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#ece806\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-dark-gray-color\"><strong>I shall be wearing my beads they gave to me, during their last visit here.\u00a0 Yep, looking forward to a bit of fun and dance the night away.\u00a0 Come on \u2026 join us &#8211; your\u00a0hosts, Diane and Keith.<\/strong>  <strong>P.S  A rush job in the end,  Sorry, I found I had repeated photos, plus unable to find a picture of Steve (sorry Steve).
