It’s the MARTYN BROTHERS JAZZ BAND\u00a0<\/strong>– one of my favourite bands – they know how to play New Orleans jazz just how it is meant to be played (they live eat and play it) and they are back here again at our FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB<\/strong> <\/b>tonight, Friday, 10th<\/sup> May 2019<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 BEN MARTYN <\/strong>plays double bass and sings an EMILE MARTYN<\/strong><\/b>, <\/strong>who plays drums, have booked one of my favourite musicians, namely ROB PEARCE<\/strong><\/b>, <\/strong>who is on trombone.\u00a0\u00a0 Rob<\/strong> also has his own band and often plays here, namely The Mardi Gras<\/strong> and just like Ben<\/strong> and Emile<\/b>, also travels frequently back and forth to New Orleans<\/strong>.\u00a0 They are to be joined by RICHIE HOWARD<\/strong> <\/b>on clarinet and RICHARD SIMMONS <\/strong>on piano (sorry, no photo of Richard for the moment).\u00a0 As I said last time they were here, they are very popular in central London clubs and show their versatility, but certainly play the real New Orleans<\/strong> traditional style jazz for us here and ooze fun for us too. \u00a0So come and see what fabulous young musicians they are. \u00a0The music is from 8:00pm till 11:00pm (plenty of free parking). It\u2019s \u2018Live\u2019 jazz<\/strong>, hosted by Diane and Keith \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
