We\u2019re pleased to tell you, it\u2019s the GOLDEN EAGLE JAZZ BAND joining us again at our FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB (Kent) on Friday 15th<\/sup> February 2019. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0KEVIN SCOTT plays tenor banjo and sings.\u00a0 \u00a0He is such a happy soul, leading this band, playing strongly, but with such a warm sense of feeling (oh – and an infectious laugh). \u00a0Of course, the rest of the band naturally play in the same way. \u00a0TONY KARAVIS plays trumpet, ALAN CRESSWELL plays reeds and ROY STOKES plays trombone (and another singer).\u00a0 The rest of the engine are CHRIS THOMPSON playing double bass and MALC MURPHEY on drums.\u00a0 The tunes they play are chosen with careful thought, choosing ones to dance to, or just to listen to.\u00a0 Kevin does tell jokes to keep the entertainment light (sometimes corny getting an audience happilly jeering , so always fun).\u00a0 There you go, you must come and check me out \u2013 that I am not exaggerating.\u00a0 So be there for an 8:00pm start, joining\u00a0your\u00a0hosts,\u00a0Keith\u00a0and\u00a0Diane\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
