Who are these super stars?\u00a0 Well non-other than <\/strong>our \u2018Kid\u2019, GEORGE TIDIMAN, (trombone), DENNY ILETT (you\u2019d be hard-put to find a better trumpeter) and how about clarinettist TIM HUSKISSON, such a talent, (I said last time, he plays piano with our Sunday quartet and I just love him).\u00a0 Then we come to the boiler-room boys, \u2018SOUTHEND BOB\u2019 ALLBUT\u00a0on banjo (with his brilliant baritone voice),\u00a0JOHN SIRETT on double bass and BILL FINCH on drums.\u00a0 Such stars, you just mustn\u2019t miss them.\u00a0 What a coincidence tonight is \u2013 because last time they were here, I said how we were in for another bitterly cold spell with the \u2018Beast from the East\u2019 due to hits us the very next day.\u00a0 Then I said how the time before they were here, it had been boiling hot, with the temperature at 28o<\/sup>.\u00a0 Now what do we have \u2013 boiling hot temperatures of 30o<\/sup>.\u00a0 Oh well, perhaps not too much dancing aye.\u00a0 But we can still enjoy it \u2013 don\u2019t worry boys in the band, I\u2019ll bring the big fan and audience, I\u2019ll have some hand-held ones too. <\/strong><\/p>\n
