\u2018BILL PHELAN\u2019S\u00a0MUSKRAT RAMBLERS\u2019<\/strong> <\/span>are set to be with us on Friday, 25<\/em><\/strong>th<\/sup><\/em><\/strong> May 2018<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 We at FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB<\/em> enjoy having a variety of bands to suit most of your tastes and know Bill\u2019s guys will make a great atmosphere for you.\u00a0 I do hope to be ok for the whole evening myself this week, because these guys also know how to play great jazz and have fun at the same time!\u00a0 Band leader, <\/strong>BILL<\/strong><\/span> on trumpet & flugabone, will have joining him\u00a0ALAN CRESSWELL<\/span> on clarinet,<\/b> JOHN FINCH<\/b> on<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>trombone, plus engine boys, ANDY LAWRENCE <\/span>on double bass,\u00a0 JOHNNY McCALLUM <\/span>on banjo & guitar (20yrs with Chris Barber) and PAUL NORMAN <\/span>on drums).\u00a0 Plenty of dancing to be enjoyed and listeners will not be disappointed either, with hopefully Bill playing his flugabone and John (F) on trombone, to \u2018Sweet Georgia Brown\u2019<\/em>, plus Alan featuring to \u2018Petite Fleur\u2019<\/em><\/b> \u2013 I shall request these numbers, that\u2019s for sure (perhaps my ‘Ciribiribin’ too).\u00a0 Oh! I am a greedy what\u2019s it!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Can\u2019t close without a P.S. nowadays \u2013 just a reminder though, \u20184-In-A-Bar+1\u2019 are at Ye Olde Whyte Lyon, Locks Bottom this Sunday, 27th<\/sup> May 2018, from 3:00 till 6:00pm (see special \u2018Page\u2019 at top of our website about it).\u00a0 A lovely venue where lovely food can be had, plus enjoy our quartet playing lovely dinner jazz (with many old standards).\u00a0 This Sunday will have lots of romantic songs we will be playing for a lovely couple\u2019s wedding at Leeds Castle next week \u2013 how about that \u2013 I\u2019m petrified!\u00a0 Come and support us \u2013 with that many lovely\u2019s I mentioned, it\u2019s got to be lovely!!!!!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
