This week was the very first time ever that I had missed writing a newsletter to tell you of the band and the musicians who would be playing for us, since advertising our weekly Friday night jazz club some 25\/30 years ago.\u00a0 Well I had very good reason for missing it, simply due to my being \u2018GRANTED\u2019<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

So sorry, but let me tell you briefly, we had the return of BOB DWYER\u2019S BIX & PIECES<\/span>, <\/strong>to FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB<\/strong> <\/span>on Friday, 13th October 2017<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Trombonist &vocalist BOB<\/strong>,<\/strong><\/span> never complained we hadn\u2019t advertised them, because it was a good turnout anyway. \u00a0MALCOLME WALTON<\/strong> <\/span>was on trumpet, with TIM HUSKISSON<\/strong> <\/span>on clarinet & tenor sax, HUGH CROZIER<\/strong> <\/span>on piano &vocals, JOHN BAYNE<\/strong> on double bass &bass sax,<\/span> DAVE PRICE<\/strong> on banjo &guitar and GRAHAM CAULICOTTE<\/strong> <\/span>on drums.\u00a0 Also MARILYN PRICE<\/strong> <\/span>sang a couple of songs.\u00a0 What a great jazz voice she has too.\u00a0 Lovely evening.<\/p>\n
