We at FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB (Kent)<\/strong><\/span> take tremendous pleasure in telling you we have the very\u00a0talented\u00a0\u00a0TONY PITT\u2019S ALL STARS<\/strong><\/span> back again and appearing this FRIDAY, 26<\/strong>th<\/sup> MAY 2017<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 Band leader TONY<\/strong><\/span> (banjoist) has\u00a0SIMON NELSON<\/span><\/b>\u00a0(cornet & vocals), DAVE HEWITT<\/strong><\/span> (trombone) and AL NICHOLLS<\/strong><\/span> (soprano & tenor sax), <\/strong>plus\u00a0<\/strong>ANDY LAWRENCE<\/strong><\/span> (double bass) and JOHN\u00a0ELLMER<\/strong><\/span> (drums).\u00a0 \u00a0 Simon is new to Farnborough, so I looked him up to learn what I could about him and found a write-up\u00a0about him,\u00a0having guested with the band \u2018Stars of British Jazz\u2019 (<\/span>www.starsofbritishjazz.com\/guest-artistes.html<\/a>)<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0 Anyway,<\/span> if<\/span> you read last October 28th\u2019s newsletter, then you are sure to have enjoyed that evening and will be back again for more of\u00a0this professional and fun-loving entertainment too.\u00a0 If you didn\u2019t make it that night, be sure not to miss this one.\u00a0 We would like a sell-out to show these great stars we love them.\u00a0 See you for 8:00clock start.<\/p>\n
