I know I shouldn\u2019t tempt providence, but albeit cold, it looks quite promising weather-wise for Friday 20th JANUARY 2017<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span> Certainly not the snow and ice we had last week.\u00a0 We were actually mentioned on TV\u2019s BBC news \u2013 A21 Farnborough and Biggin Hill as being the worst hit.\u00a0 So I\u2019m sure you will all be turning up in your hoards to see the \u2018LORD NAPIER HOT SHOTS\u2019<\/strong><\/span> and enjoy them entertaining us here at FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Band leader MIKE JACKSON<\/strong> <\/span>(trumpet &vocals) has with him,\u00a0MIKE DUCKWORTH<\/strong> <\/span>(trombone), PAT GLOVER<\/strong> (reeds &vocals),<\/span> LYNN SAUNDERS<\/strong> <\/span>(banjo & guitar), MICK SCRIVEN<\/strong> <\/span>(double bass, bass sax & vocals),\u00a0not forgetting\u00a0BILL TRAXLER<\/strong> <\/span>(drums).\u00a0 Being we have had no club since last year, we need to let our hair down \u2013 such a thought aye?\u00a0 Seriously, it will be so nice to be back.\u00a0 Hopefully we won\u2019t be too stiff in the knees to dance.\u00a0 See you on Friday.<\/p>\n
