TONY PITT\u2019S ALL STARS<\/strong><\/span> will be back again here at FARNBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB (Kent)<\/strong> <\/span>on FRIDAY, 28<\/strong>th<\/sup> October 2016<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Band leader TONY<\/strong> (banjoist) has ALAN GRESTY<\/strong> (<\/span>trumpet\/vocals), DAVE HEWITT<\/strong> (<\/span>trombone), AL NICHOLLS<\/strong> (<\/span>soprano\/tenor sax), <\/strong>plus\u00a0<\/strong>ANDY LAWRENCE<\/strong> (<\/span>double bass) and JOHN TYSON<\/span> <\/strong>(drums).\u00a0 By the way, Tony doesn’t brag, but has played with the great Alex Welsh Band<\/span> for many year, then with Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band<\/span>.\u00a0 He was also with Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen<\/span>, plus the fantastic bands of Alan Elsdon, Mike Cotton, Laurie Chescoe, Terry Lightfoot and\u00a0Phil Mason<\/span> \u2013 quite a C.V. aye?\u00a0 The guys with him have similarly good\u00a0r\u00e9sum\u00e9s, so you know you\u2019ll enjoy this evening.\u00a0 If you haven\u2019t visited us here \u00a0before, get your glad-rags on and join us for a music start of 8:00pm.\u00a0 We have a friendly atmosphere, dancing, a Shepherd Neame bar with club prices, plus plenty of free parking.<\/p>\n
