\u2018DOC HOULIND’S REVIVAL ALL STARS\u2019<\/strong><\/span> is a 7-pce band from Denmark appearing at FAR<\/span>NBOROUGH JAZZ CLUB <\/strong>this<\/span> FRIDAY, 21st OCTOBER 2016.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span> It is the first time we have had this Danish band, so we must give them a warm welcome to our club, (although Brian and Jesper<\/strong> <\/span>have appeared here before).\u00a0 \u00a0I know they will delight you all with their jazz to listen to, so come on and turn out for this ‘first’ (and we do need you dancers to turn up too).<\/p>\n

The musicians on this 2016 Tour\u00a0will be RAGNAR TRETOW<\/strong> <\/span>on trumpet (from Sweden), KRISTIAN BARFOED<\/strong><\/span> on trombone, JESPER CAPION LARSEN<\/strong> <\/span>on clarinet, LIS KR<\/strong>\u00d8YER<\/strong> <\/span>on piano, EBBE <\/strong>KJ\u00c6RSGAARD HANSEN<\/strong><\/span> on banjo, BRIAN TURNOCK<\/strong> <\/span>(from Watford!) on bass and band\u00a0leader,\u00a0S\u00d8<\/b>REN<\/strong> \u2018DOC\u2019 HOULIND <\/strong><\/span>\u2013 is back on drums again for the tour.\u00a0 \u2018Doc\u2019<\/span><\/strong> played drums with Papa Bue’s Band and Sammy Rimington\u2019s Quartet<\/strong>.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget, music is from 8:00pm till 11:00pm.\"union_flag_1606_kings_colors-svg\"<\/a>Keep jazz \u2018live\u2019 with Diane and Keith<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
