Photo by Mike Witt.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the numbers played were different to most we hear each week, such as the first number I noted, <em>\u2018Mabel\u2019s Dream\u2019<\/em>.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure I have heard it here before, as with the next number either, <em>\u2018Baby Brown\u2019<\/em>, which was sung by Bob, in his inimitable voice (&amp; humour). \u00a0Then came <em>\u2018Cushion Feet Stomp\u2019<\/em>, I had put three ticks against this one, with the fact that Bob sang some scat vocals \u2013 fabulous.\u00a0 Of course, <em>\u2018The Girls Go Crazy \u2018Bout The Way I Walk\u2019<\/em> is good ol\u2019 favourite of most bands and punters alike, especially when sung by our George and of course\u00a0the \u00a0wonderful clarinet sounds\u00a0from Tim.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0They added another favourite \u2013 Jack Teagarden\u2019s <em>\u2018I\u2019ve Got The Right to Sing the Blues\u2019<\/em>, lovely stuff played brilliantly.\u00a0 They also played a Doris Day hit song, <em>\u2018Everywhere You Go (The Sunshine Follows You)\u2019<\/em>.\u00a0 Wasn\u2019t she a wonderful singer? \u2013 well our Bob sung it with as much aplomb.\u00a0 Plus he also sang the next &#8211; <em>\u2018I Aint Gonna Give Nobody None O\u2019 This Jelly Roll\u2019<\/em>, another great old \u2018trad\u2019 number.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3451\" style=\"width: 294px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/farnboroughjazz.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Mahogany-Hall-5may2016_2163.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3451\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3451\" class=\" wp-image-3451\" src=\"https:\/\/farnboroughjazz.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Mahogany-Hall-5may2016_2163-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Super photo of George 'Kid' Tidiman on trombone with Mahogany Hall Stompers at Farnborough Jazz Club (Kent) on 5th February 2016.
