The evening began with a few horrors, including a huge traffic jam on the M25, so the band arrived after an horrendous journey. As one would expect, the first number was a little strained, but they soon got into stride and the whole evening\u2019s music took charge of us and we certainly danced the evening away. I first took note of <i>\u2018Sunday\u2019<\/i>, a lovely happy tune, with a good tempo for dancing and sung by Bob. This was followed by <i>\u2018Creole Love Song\u2019<\/i>, giving more of a slower tempo for a waltz. However, the next tune was <i>\u2018Fidgety Feet\u2019<\/i>, very much \u2018up tempo\u2019 to which we performed our line-dance <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">\u2013<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> wowie, another exhausting choice. He played solo with the first verse of <i>\u2018Blue Skies\u2019<\/i>. Oh I just love him. Then came <i>\u2018My Little Bimbo\u2019.<\/i> Our guest player Burt sang it and of course he is quite a favourite character and known in these parts with his own band &#8220;Burt Butler\u2019s Jazz Pilgrims&#8221;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">They continued on with <i>\u2018Diggin\u2019 My Potatoes\u2019, <\/i>Max is just brilliant with this one and I think the rest of the band all joined in with harmonizing. We had another go (oh, just four of us!) at a line-dance to <i>\u2018Puttin On the Ritz\u2019<\/i>, well it is just a perfect tune for our \u2018Charleston\u2019 effort to it. Finally, once again, Bob asked them all to play <i>\u2018Nice To Know You Care\u2019<\/i> for Keith and me, the music being written by our dear late-friend Leslie Baguley (a big hit from the \u201840\u2019s).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #008000;
