In 2021, after twenty-seven<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>very happy years at the Farnborough Sports Club, (+6years at Badgers Mount Hotel) our Jazz (which was held <\/span>every Friday evening), <\/span>has now moved next door to the FARNBOROUGH SOCIAL CLUB.\u00a0 We also changed to hold the jazz once a month on a Sunday afternoon.\u00a0 And after four months, in 2022, – we now hold it twice a month (every first and third Sunday), opening at 1:00pm, with music held from 2:00-5:00pm.\u00a0 We began with ‘MICK COLLINS LEGACY JAZZ ORCHESTRA’, (16pce), on\u00a0 SEPTEMBER 2021, followed with ‘FORCE TEN BIG BAND,\u00a0 (17pce).\u00a0 Unfortunately, we all had problems with the petrol situation, so few could get here, but we still had a wonderful atmosphere.\u00a0 We will be presenting bands of all types and sizes, with the thought of encouraging all ages.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Why not come early, pop into the Woodman Pub first, for a a lovely roast meal to enjoy a country afternoon (phone first, to check they are free, (so not to be disappointed (01689-852663).<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

We had a wonderful 25years with the Football Club and parted with mutual reasons. As soon as we get into the rhythms of a new club, Keith and I will try to support them in their very successful rise up the various football leagues – we wont be so tired on Saturday mornings!!!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

From M25 – exit Junction 4 (Orpington)<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>(6 miles – 15-20 minutes)<\/strong> Exit toward London A21<\/strong><\/p>\n

4th<\/sup> roundabout, left to Farnborough Village,<\/strong> passing <\/strong>Change of Horses<\/strong><\/em><\/span> (on right). Just before <\/strong>The Woodman<\/strong><\/em><\/span> (on left) turn left into Farrow Fields. <\/strong>Farnborough Social Club<\/span> is on right.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From London<\/strong><\/span>: Follow A21 to Bromley, Locks Bottom, watch out for Princess Royal Hospital<\/span> on left<\/strong><\/strong> At the next lights bear right onto the B2158 (signposted Farnborough village). <\/span>\u00a0Look out for <\/strong>The Woodman<\/strong><\/em><\/span> on your right, immediately after, turn right into Farrow Fields. <\/strong>Farnborough Social Club is on right<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

BY BUS <\/span><\/strong><\/span>The club is served by the <\/strong>358 bus<\/strong> which runs between Crystal Palace and Orpington via Bromley.<\/strong>\u00a0The <\/strong>R4 <\/strong>runs along Farnborough Way, leaving a 5 minute walk to the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BY TRAIN <\/span><\/strong><\/span>The closest railway stations are <\/strong>Orpington<\/strong><\/span> (slightly nearer) and <\/strong>Bromley South<\/strong><\/span>. From either, take <\/strong>358<\/strong><\/span> bus to the club (approx journey time: 25 minutes).
