Windy City Weatherbirds, Sunday 21st August 2022 (2-5pm)

Just a moment to spend a few words telling you why you should make your way to the club this Sunday! The Windy City Weatherbirds.  They are here this Sunday, 21st August 2022 (2:00pm-5:00pm).  These six young lads (all aged in their twenties) are just magnificent – top-notched musicians already. We also love the look they exchange between themselves, (I’ve just realized that I am repeated all this before)  whilst listening to each other,  showing the admiration for each other’s music – and they are three brothers and three friends.  Everyone who has witnessed them, agrees they will go far, Keith tells me not to tell them, they will want more money – seriously, they are not too full of themselves, either – lovely men. We recommend them to your clubs.

What a shame they are surviving during these hard times, they would definitely have been appearing in amongst many packed audiences long before now, with people being turned away – one day aye!  Still, I am sure it will make them much stronger in life  (thanks to their school of music and Mick Collins Legacy Jazz Orchestra, where we found them).  You can see them and the fantastic orchestra, held every first Monday evening, each month)

Diane – and Keith.
